Burrow Family Davenport Landing Beach

Instagram often gets criticized for being a superficial social space, but since I have moved to Santa Cruz, some very genuine things have come from this outlet. One of those things has been getting to know Natalie. I saw her daughter's nursery feature on Glitter Guide, and in it she mentioned Bitte as one of her favorite online shops. Well, Bitte is a social media client of mine, so I reached out to thank her for the mention and through reaching out, discovered that she lived in Santa Cruz and that her daughter was the same age as mine! We actually had quite a bit in common and so we decided to meet up for a play date. 

Fast forward a few months and here I am taking family photos for her. It might have been my favorite mini session so far, so I wanted to share a few of my favorites. She really wanted a beach location, so we settled on Davenport Landing Beach, just north of Santa Cruz. It's pretty obvious why we chose this spot...the cliffs, the lighting....well...it's downright gorgeous.
